
Our goal was never to be chefs. It was never to serve BBQ. Our intention was greater.
Starting out as young professionals in emergency medicine, we recognized the importance of high-quality food to keep us fueled throughout fast-paced 12- and 24-hour shifts. Resque Joe’s BBQ started with that need in mind. We wanted to make sure our fellow first responders were fed and equipped to provide life-saving care to others.
Throughout the last ten years, we have partnered with fire departments and medical organizations around the country. We have also employed young adults and supported them in gaining employment in fire and law enforcement, public safety, and education positions. Our BBQ has won awards in competitions and our passion for service continues to transcend into the communities we are a part of.
